History About Progressive Web Pty Ltd
From a Local Startup to a Digital Force
Founded in 2007 by Michael Joudal, Progressive Web Pty Ltd began with a simple vision — to bring world-class web design and development to South African businesses of all sizes. With a leadership team boasting over 20 years of experience, we quickly established ourselves as specialists in custom WordPress websites. Our first projects helped local businesses launch fast, mobile-friendly sites tailored to their goals.
After those early wins, we grew rapidly. We branched out into marketing and SEO by 2021. In 2022, we launched Jelly Hosting, our hosting sister brand, and Prosumo Web Tools, our free online toolkit for entrepreneurs. In 2024, we became a verified Sortlist agency and built a strong international presence.
